Lotus Belle announce record enquiries for their luxury bell tents since October 2020
and do not see the trend slowing down. Glampsites in the UK have been using Lotus
Belles since they first came to market in 2013, and are still going strong. Now

winter.
During November’s lockdown, people didn’t take weekend getaways, but campsites
saw many last-minute bookings at the end of October and Brits are booking camping

This is the tent for weekends away, last-minute spare-room creation, and further
afield camping locations, with all the luxury of a night in a regular Lotus Belle tent.
The Lightweight comes with all the features of our highest spec Lotus Belle, the
Hybrid Deluxe - two windows with mesh, PVC and roll-down canvas curtain layers. A
front and rear door, both also with mesh layers, to keep out the bugs. The ‘bathtub
style’ groundsheet is made with 440gsm PVC and seals shut to keep the tent clean
and dry as a bone. As a new feature, we've added a hooded doorway with an
easily attachable porch which comes standard with this model.
One of the biggest differences with the Lightweight Lotus Belle is that the walls and
roof come as one piece, making pitching simple and quick. They are made with our
190gsm polycotton canvas: the same fabric we use for our Air tents, helping to
reduce the overall size and weight. As always, our canvas has all the anti-mould and
‘fire retardant’ properties of our thicker canvas.
This Lotus Belle is perfect for short term family camping rather than permanent use,
in our same unique design.
