Dotty Fish Launches Fun Video Gift Message Service
We all know that Christmas is going to be different this year and giving gifts is not going to be quite the same as usual. With this in mind the team at Dotty Fish wanted to give customers a way to personalise their gifts and make them special. There adorable online range of soft leather baby shoes and children's slippers are always very popular at this time of year and are bought as little gifts by grandparents, friends and family.
Helen Chapman, Founder and Managing Director at Dotty Fish has said "We wanted to make giving gifts a little bit special and find a way for sheltering and vulnerable groups to be able to still feel connected." After looking for a solution they found a new company called Livstick who provide this video messaging service. "We knew we needed to get this implemented quickly and so we worked very hard to make this a reality."
The process is so simple - after checkout you are prompted to record your message. A unique code is included on a 'You have a message card' which goes in with the parcel. Once opened the recipient simply goes to the link, puts their unique code in and watches there personal message. They even have the chance to respond with a little thank-you message of their own.
"It couldn't be simpler and we know our customers are going to love this new service. As a small business finding ways to compete with the big giants is tough but adding the personal touch really sets us apart. "
This is part of a relaunch of the Dotty Fish website that includes free standard delivery using their new sustainable paper mailing bags. These new bags not only feature an adorably Dotty Fish doodle but they are also fully bio-degradable, recyclable and reusable. The little doodle is designed to keep little ones busy as they are able to colour the pictures in.
