Experts gather to promote tax advantaged investment in SMEs

Hosted by the EIS Association, a panel of experts will gather on the evening of the 13th February, ahead of the forthcoming budget, to discuss the way investors can support early stage businesses making the most of available tax reliefs and marketing opportunities.

Combining advice on the Enterprise Investment Scheme, Research and Development Grants, Venture Investment and Brand positioning, the panel will be steering businesses on the opportunities for funding and growing their ventures.

Director General of the EIS Association, Mark Brownridge commented, ‘We are keen to promote the opportunities available to businesses for the use of the tax schemes put in place by the government to incentivise investment by individuals in their enterprises. The panel will be covering the latest changes in the regulations, as well as looking at other key areas such as marketing and brand profile.’

On the panel will be Tracy Clarke, Consultant from Bovill, Scott Johnstone, CEO of the Scottish Lifescience Association, and Kyle Keeney from Elevate Ventures.

The event will take place at the London Air Street offices of Wayra, one of the leading global innovation centre supporters.
