HedgeSync launches exclusive professional networking app for the buy-side community
HedgeSync, the go-to discovery tool for hedge funds and institutional investors, has launched a new and exclusive networking and professional development app for the buy-side community.
Available to download for free from the Google Play Store, the Apple App Store or by visiting network.hedgesync.com, the buy-side alternative investment community is able to create and share content as well as direct message other members through the HedgeSync Network. Once approved, all members are able to connect directly with every other member, creating an instant online database of like-minded professionals.
"We are going back to basics, back to what the professional networking platforms set out to do before they became 700 million+ member behemoths. Our app will be available to the buy-side community only and used predominantly for professional networking, but online events and industry-specific learning are also in the pipeline. It's a very exciting project," said Mel Sutton, Managing Director of HedgeSync.
HedgeSync, which also provides a fully interactive database of hedge funds, CTAs, private equity funds, venture capital funds, private credit funds and UCITS funds, was launched in Glasgow in October 2020. Access to the HedgeSync Database is completely free to institutional investors who are allocating to alternative funds, providing full visibility of the fund database and access to watchlists and portfolio tools, including weightings, risk and return statistics.
As well as helping institutional investors to quickly and easily discover new managers without travelling and at no cost, the company aims to be affordable to the emerging manager and also donates a percentage of their revenue to planting trees and rewilding the Scottish highlands.
