Lingotot Hosts Their Biggest Ever Training Weekend!

This weekend Lingotot welcomed FIVE new franchisees, their largest number yet! Faced with a second national lockdown, the Lingotot family continues to thrive and adapt to the new norms rapidly.

Lingotot first started as a franchise in 2011 with the launch of its first pilot units. They now boast over fifty franchisees who employ a further eighty teachers. After this weekend, it’s clear to see that that number will only continue to grow no matter what hurdles may arise.

Angela Sterling, founder and CEO at Lingotot, said ‘we are spilling over with pride! For this to happen during a second national lockdown is incredible. It shows that the hard work and determination of our Lingotot family, and of our lovely new franchisees, really does pay off.’

As England remains in national lockdown, this weekend’s training moved online. While technology can sometimes prove to be a menace for events like this, the weekend went smoothly and everyone had a fantastic time. It is a breath of fresh air in this uncertain period for so many to make that brave and exciting decision to start something new.

With the training weekend finished, these five new franchisees are ready to start their Lingotot adventure. With education support being so important, especially now, it is a venture that will not only help them from a business perspective, but they will truly be giving back to their local communities.

After one of this weekend's participants, Karen, was asked why she chose to start her own business with Lingotot she said ‘I read Angela’s story and it mirrored mine in many ways. But more than anything, I like the ethos of the company: it is a serious, successful business, yet feels like a warm and welcoming family. I looked into other options but Lingotot offered me the level of training, support and structure that I believe I need to succeed.’
