Marshall & Brown launch Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee

Award-winning purveyors of fine Jamaican fayre, Marshall & Brown, have introduced a Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee – perfect for coffee connoisseurs who could do with a little pick-me-up, especially in today’s working from home environment, as the coronavirus pandemic

rages on.

As the name suggests, Marshall & Brown’s premium artisan Blue Mountain Coffee is grown and roasted on the well-watered, well-drained slopes of Jamaica’s Blue Mountains region – one of the Caribbean island’s most famous natural attractions – at an altitude of 900-2,350 metres.

This extremely rare Arabica typica variety has a delicate mildness, natural sweetness and subtle nutty undertones that have led the single-origin coffee to be acclaimed as one of the world’s best. Just ask James Bond: In Live and Let Die, Ian Fleming’s special agent proclaimed “Blue Mountain Coffee – the most delicious in the world.”

Beautifully packaged featuring a map of Jamaica, the 250g bag of hand-picked, hand-roasted, rare Blue Mountain roasted coffee beans make an original gift for frequent travel lovers who are now stuck at home.

Dr Carlton Brown, founder of Marshall & Brown, said of the launch: “We are always looking for new ways to delight our customers, especially in a time that is anything but, and our exclusive Blue Mountain coffee is a fantastic addition to our range. Marshall & Brown’s Blue Mountain

Coffee is perfect as a self-treat or as a gift to cheer up a loved one during lockdown.”

Describing what makes Marshall & Brown’s Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee so special, he said: “The coffee growing conditions – a combination of climate, continuous rainfall, rich soil and elevation – in the Blue Mountains are unique and the result is a remarkable coffee unlike any

you have tried before.”

His Excellency Mr Seth George Ramocan, Jamaica's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, said:

“Since its inception, Marshall & Brown has been seeking out the very best of Jamaica to market across the globe. They took time to make sure they were carefully selecting the very best lot of coffee out of Jamaica. When you drink Marshall and Brown, it is authentically Blue Mountain coffee – the world’s top coffee brand. It is a real taste of Jamaica.”

About Marshall and Brown London

The inspiration behind Marshall and Brown came from Dr Carlton Brown’s mother, who is 97, and his mother-in-law. The company is named after these two wonderful matriarchs – Olive Brown and Eugenia Marshall – who were both born on the beautiful island of Jamaica. They were both amazing cooks and on Sundays, one of their family traditions was to have a dish that had been marinated or seasoned with Jerk seasoning.
