2019 National Enterprise Network Awards – Shortlist announced!

National Enterprise Network is pleased to announce the shortlist of entries for the 2019 National Enterprise Network awards – a programme established in 2007 to recognise excellence in the delivery of enterprise support, encouraging the exchange of good practice and the development of improved services and organisations.

The NEN Awards were established over 10 years ago to recognise excellence in the delivery of enterprise support, encouraging the exchange of good practice and the development of improved services and organisations.

Traditionally, our awards look to celebrate the achievements of our members. But for this year’s awards we have made some changes to reflect the repositioning of National Enterprise Network as “The home of enterprise support”. In line with our pledge to represent, unite and support all organisations sharing our passion for inspiring and encouraging enterprise, for the first time we invited organisations outside our membership network to apply for two of our award categories – and we were delighted with the response!

NEN Chairman Alex Till commented:

“The organisations featured on the 2019 National Enterprise Network Awards shortlist have all clearly demonstrated excellence in the delivery of enterprise support, or work taking place in educational settings which are focused on embedding entrepreneurial spirit and enterprise into this environment. Selecting a shortlist is never an easy task, but reading through all of the entries provided a great insight into some of the fantastic enterprise related initiatives and committed professionals working incredibly hard across the whole of England. We’ve always been proud of the work of our members and wider network and congratulate everyone who has been shortlisted. We look forward to announcing the names of the category winners in November!”

The judging panel formed of NEN Chairman Alex Till; Liz Smith, Market Director – Harrow and Edgware, Barclays UK and Aileen Evans, NEN Director together chose a number of organisations that clearly showed us why they are award worthy.

We’re delighted to announce that the following organisations have made it through to the next stage.
