Entrepreneurs Collective celebrates the launch of Startup Springboard 2021
Entrepreneurs Collective (EC) has officially launched its brand new events series, Springboard 2021. The series of 15 workshops and events, running from January through March, is the largest online startup event series so far this year in the UK, and is supported by leading specialists, serial entrepreneurs and VC managers.
Kicking off on January 7th, the series of workshops will cover all manner of topics. Industry leaders, including Barbara Brudenell-Bruce and Nick Telson, and partner companies of the Entrepreneurs Collective will host their own workshops covering PR, wealth management, recruitment, digital marketing, fundraising and lots more. The workshops are supplemented by a founders-only roundtable event led by Mintago CEO, Chieu Cao as well as EC’s monthly pitch competitions, which showcases some of the UK’s most exciting startups pitching to a panel of renowned investors and entrepreneurs.
Founder and CEO of the Entrepreneurs Collective, Michael Blakeley, a lawyer turned serial entrepreneur with a successful dating app and legal consultancy under his belt, said: “I’m so excited to finally announce Springboard 2021 - it's the culmination of a year's worth of hard work from the team! I’m really looking forward to seeing the positive impact the series will have for founders and their startups! Whilst COVID has been really tough for all event platforms, we’ve been able to pivot slightly and offer more tools and guidance, as well as our events, to help build a real support network for all those founders who are stuck at home and have lost that workplace community.”
Entrepreneurs Collective, which saw its overall community grow to over 4,000 in 2020, thanks in part to its popular events series and improving membership benefits, has seen internal growth too. The team, which grew from 2 at the beginning of 2020 to 10 by Christmas, is made up of Founders or Ex-Founders. CEO Michael Blakeley said: “I hire them because they’re in the best position to help other founders. They know their pain points and can offer the best advice and guidance, which is essential to our mission – ‘Founders helping Founders’”
