Melton Mowbray business woman plans to reach 1 million people in the next ten years
Local business woman, Kerry Malster, has a vision to have a positive impact on 1 million people across the area over the next ten years. Kerry Malster has spent the past months working as a business growth coach in Melton Mowbray and has since been awarded Senior Partner status with global firm ActionCOACH.
In the last few years, Kerry has worked overseas in a variety of senior positions across the Middle East, most recently as a director of the British Council in Jeddah. Along with her role leading the business, she contributed to campaigns to empower women and bring sport into schools. The latter project partnered with consultants from Loughborough University, so it was nice to be close to those colleagues when she started her business coaching firm now she is settled back into UK life.
“Business growth is so important, and I’ve witnessed first-hand what coaching can do for a company, its employees and their families. In my years working with businesses in the UK and overseas, I’ve learnt the necessary steps they need to take them from good to great. I hope that by sharing these proven growth strategies with business owners in Melton Mowbray, I can begin to make positive changes in people’s lives. You’d be surprised by how many people you can reach by improving just a handful of businesses so my goal of reaching 1 million in ten years is achievable.”
Kerry and her husband are animal lovers with three dogs – one of them uses a wheelchair. She is pleased to be able to use her business to give back, committing to offering free coaching to at least one organisation each year. This time she has chosen Hope Animal Rescue Centre, a national charity with strong local ties, rehoming the pets of vulnerable people at very difficult times in their lives.
“You can imagine the scenery and dog walks are very different here compared to Dubai! I love driving to see my clients in such a variety of settings - it’s good for the mind. We work with a wide range of types and sizes of companies; we can help any company that wants to scale up and become more profitable or get more efficient with their time and staff. People don’t give a second thought to getting a sports coach to improve performance, so why should it be any different for business?”
Back at the office, Kerry and her team offer both group and one-to-one business coaching to suit all budgets, including a monthly BookCLUB. She also holds regular free events with the next one on Tuesday 18th June at Pera Business Park, where Kerry will share proven strategies on how to improve the profits, productivity and potential of your business.
