Slough business coaching practice offering lifeline to charity partner
With charities facing several challenges in terms of fundraising and delivery of services during the pandemic, a local business coaching practice is offering a year’s free guidance to one organisation. Simac Konkader, an expert business coach at ActionCOACH, is leading the search for a local charitable organisation. One charity will be chosen as the recipient of gifted business coaching sessions to help achieve their operational and financial goals over the next year.
“The past year has been difficult to say the least,” said Simac. “Many charities have really struggled to survive as typical fundraising events were cancelled and volunteers were blocked by lockdown restrictions. As usual activities resume for charities, this isn’t about taking things slowly, it’s about learning from the past year and tackling challenges with more vigour than before. We often forget that charities actually need to be run like any other businesses – they have their own operating costs that must be covered before surplus funds can be invested in serving those they aim to support.
