Launch of Adempi Associates - a new financial services compliance consultancy

Adempi Associates is a new compliance consultancy created by award-winning advisers Gillian Roche-Saunders and Dena Chadderton.

Focussed on providing clients with direct access to the go-to experts in a given field, Adempi launches in October 2019 and will be made up entirely of experienced consultants with outstanding track records for delivering what clients want.

The firm’s tagline, ‘advice to help you accomplish’ sets out the stall of the co-founders who believe in delivering great outcomes for clients through their strategic regulatory advice and hands-on support.

Gillian Roche-Saunders previously founded the Venture Finance division at Bovill and went on to establish the successful regulatory consultancy, BWB Compliance, within city law firm Bates Wells. She is known for working with innovative and impactful clients who need to find a path through regulation that was not written with their business model in mind. She is a director of the EIS Association and a committee member of the BVCA and supports a number of financial services incubators. Prior to moving into financial services, Gillian spent 7 years leading compliance investigations at The Law Society.

This is not the first time the pair have come together. Dena Chadderton shares both Bovill and Bates Wells history with Gillian. In addition, Dena brings real in-house experience to the table having worked within a variety of asset managers and online platforms in senior roles. She understands the difficulties of combining the compliance officer role with the everyday operational practicalities facing the firm. Dena is a Chartered Accountant and has worked in financial services for 15 years.

“Clients want to reach the expert and that’s the kind of access we’ll be providing at Adempi. Relationships are key to giving great support but so often as you become more senior you get pulled away from clients – we’re changing that.”

In addition to building a great client experience, Adempi will also be delivering for its “Associates” as the team are leading the way in establishing modern working practices that enable flexibility in location and working style without compromising on the high standards, efficiency and personal touch that clients expect.
