2020 ConsenSys Academy Scholarship Winners - Technology Graduates from Haiti and South Africa

London, United Kingdom, September 2nd, 2020: ConsenSys Academy (https://consensys.net/academy/) has globally awarded 100 minority scholarships including 20 to young professionals in South Africa and Haiti. These young women from South Africa and Haiti are graduates of local technology institutions. The young women will be taking part in an intensive four-month virtual boot camp program with a focus on the development of applications using blockchain technology.

On September 1st, 2020, the ConsenSys (http://www.consensys.net/) flagship technical Blockchain Developer Online Bootcamp program (https://consensys.net/academy/bootcamp/) will provide learning tools and courses through multi-modal content, interactive exercises, assignments, and hands-on projects, live access to mentors and course creators, community-based peer support, and networking opportunities.

This amazing opportunity will not only be able to leverage the importance of blockchain technology, but also continue efforts towards creating sustainable systems and products with blockchain technology. The award for the South Africa and Haiti cohorts was coordinated in collaboration with AgriLedger (https://www.agriledger.io). The program will be supervised in Haiti by the founder and partner of the GECA group (http://www.gecahaiti.com), Johann Alexis Bounouni, and in South Africa by the founder of Pinion Search Partners, Claire Lockey, supported by other experts in the distributed ledger technology and mobile platform.
