Call for Huntingdonshire landowners to register their sites
Local Chartered Surveyor and Planning Consultant Barford+Co is highlighting the opportunity for land owners to promote the availability of their land as a potential development site in Huntingdonshire District Council’s current Local Plan consultation.
To ensure sufficient land is identified which is available for development in the future, Huntingdonshire District Council is asking land owners to submit details of their sites. This could be previously developed land or new Greenfield land around towns and villages, which could be suitable for residential development in Huntingdonshire.
The assessment of land availability is an important step in the preparation of Local Plans and successful sites will be included on the Council’s Brownfield register or allocated in the Local Development plan as a future development site. Sites allocated for development will provide the land owner the certainty that the principle of development is established.
The consultation period ends on 25th August 2017.
