Be Bright Project Limited share their story this World Storytelling Day

Be Bright Project Limited are proud to celebrate today's World Storytelling Day, an event which aims to inspire people to tell and listen to stories in every imaginable way.

Be Bright sees today as an opportunity to think about how crucial it is to bring stories into the lives of children at an early age. As experts in childcare who offer nursery provision and after-school clubs as well as adult learning opportunities, they also believe the message that can be taken from World Storytelling Day is intrinsically linked with their own company ethos.

Kate Faragher, the co-owner of BeBright Projects, said: "There is plenty of evidence to show the positive ways in which development is affected by storytelling, especially for those children still in nursery. It helps to encourage individuality and the expression of personal feelings - something very important to us here at Be Bright."

Be Bright see this special day as a time to think about the ways to play with narrative form - and subvert the traditional idea of sit-down storytelling to create a tactile experience with plenty of play opportunities for young children.

Kate Faragher added: "Be Bright have always recognised the importance of World Storytelling Day. There is nothing closer to our hearts than encouraging the creativity and imagination of children, and World Storytelling Day is the perfect day to celebrate just that!"

Be Bright are now hoping to reach more children than ever before with their dynamic childcare and training, with the opening of a new nursery in Sydenham this Spring. It's a special time for parents and their children to become part of the Be Bright vision and help new minds to grow in amazing new directions. With the right start in life, who knows what stories today's children might be able to tell on World Storytelling Day in the years to come!
