Basildon-based beauty and spa business highlights the importance of back care

Basildon based Bennie's Spa and Beauty is highlighting the importance of back care, in advance of this year’s Back Care Awareness Week.

Running from 8-12th October, Back Care Awareness Week aims to raise awareness of back pain in adults aged 60 and over. As people age, they are much more likely to suffer from back pain and there is often very little awareness of how to manage this. Whilst some back pain may be caused by conditions such as osteoporotic vertebral fractures, tumours, spinal infection, and lumbar spinal stenosis, often it is simply a result of wear and tear as the body ages.

Bennie's Spa and Beauty are helping people who suffer from the back problems that are all too common in older adults.

Benedicta Tuffour, the director of Bennie's Spa and Beauty believes that "A massage can relieve the pain caused by many back conditions. It can also be a great way to soothe stress and relieve the tension that can result in upper back pain, especially around the shoulders.
