ABOUT MO QUEEN

Mo Queen London has been running for over 10 years, founded by Model and Designer Mo Queen.

The brand started online and opened its first stall at London’s most famous antique market on Portobello Road, initially with craftsmanship factories located in Brazil and the EU countries Germany and Italy. In 2010, the label first flagship store in prestigious Whiteleys starting out with range of other designer brands and services.

The brand founder Mo Queen decided to focus on her handbag sketches inspired by early childhood fascination of her Mothers Chest boxes and Accessories. Following a collaboration, she launched her first collection ‘The Lioness’ during London Fashion Week at Somerset house.

The luxury signature handbags became a hit following high demand with further exhibitions in Paris Fashion Week and the brand was supported by leading organisations including UKTI.

In 2013, Mo Queen was one of 20 designers hosted at the British Embassy in Paris by Sir Peter Ricketts.

In 2016, the label rebranded to Mo Queen, epitomising her personal journey and brand growth. Mo is also one of few creatives taking part in London and Paris Fashion Week.

In 2017 and 2018, she was nominated for Creative of the Year, Business Woman of the Year and Designer of the Year by W4A Awards.
