Power Woman ‘Emma Pinfold’ Mum of seven starts the year as a double award nominee

It is always important to celebrate the individual achievements of outstanding business women, but it becomes much more poignant and necessary this past year which caused relentless uncertainty and trepidation for us all.

It’s safe to say that even pre Covid, local entrepreneur Emma had accomplished more than most - in the form of being a successful ethical retailer, boutique owner, singer in a band, wife, and a mother and step mother to seven boys.

Then 2020 turned up and expected Emma to navigate shop closures and government guidelines, by continuously diversifying and fighting determinedly to keep her business thriving. (Oh and she also did this whilst becoming a home educator and running marathons!)

It is easy to see then why Emma has been nominated in not only one, but three categories at the Kent Women in Business awards: Business Woman of the Year, Mumpreneur of the Year and Women in Retail of the year. She is an absolute force to be reckoned with - one of the hardest working and captivatingly composed, business owners in the South East.

Her enigmatic personality, and her enthusiasm for her passion of selling preloved designer pieces for affordable prices has gained her an army of online followers, who avidly tuning in to her showcases and buy from her boutique through social media. Her thoughtfully sourced pieces and personal touch throughout her businesses means that she retains customers continually, even through the pandemic.

This resilience and community spirit has undoubtedly caught the eye of not only KWBA but also The Rising Star awards. In London - created to represent ‘the female talent pipeline and the next generation of future leaders.’ Emma Pinfold is certainly worthy of that title, as she builds a quality and sustainable empire for us all to enjoy, one expertly curated brick at a time.
