60% of people aged between 18-34 old drink alcohol in excess and are classified as regular binge drinkers.

Recent statistics shows that there are lower alcohol and alcohol free drinks on the market and each alcohol beverage company must inform about drink aware status quo however there are a lot of opportunities to be face to face and emotionally connected with people who overuse alcohol.

Depression is a common mental health problem that causes people to experience low moods, loss of interest and purpose in life, feelings of guilt, loss of self-worth, low energy and luck of concentration. This is where the abuse of alcohol starts and leads to hell!

Inspired by above statistics Interactive Stage ltd made market research over the last 4 weeks and asked people about how they could reduce alcohol intake and what can make them to change to the new way of drinking.

We asked people why they drink too much and where the impulse is coming from.

Out of 300 people who took part in research 80 % responded that overusing alcohol admitted that it is related to negative tendencies connected to emotional dawns where people realising short term emotional coping and hoping that alcohol will solve their problem, kill their fear , sadness or grief.

Other 20% admitted is related to sensation seeking and socialising where sometimes intakes goes beyond the limit. They are usually looking to rise feelings of thrill, excitement, self-esteem and confidence to help them be bold and brave in social situations.

Recent government statistics shows that there is lower alcohol- or alcohol-free drinks on the market and each alcohol beverage company must make the public aware about the status quo; however, there are a lot of opportunities to speak to people face to face and emotionally connect and assist those who abuse alcohol.

Looking for answers how to prevent people from binge drinking can be very challenging subject.

Maybe instead somebody should be thinking how to connect with all this people on more personal level?

Will providing interactive awareness workshops about reducing alcohol intake can change people’s lives in the most positive way?
