Buggy Bee - The story behind it

I think that all the mums need to know they are strong enough to achieve their goals. And that we all need to be patient to get there.

Here is my story :

I have started my Business after I gave birth with my second baby. He was 2 months at that time.

I did the market research and the business plan. I have started looking for web developers and the prices were really over budget.

So I have decided to learn how to build a website by my own. I have worked late nights, baby started to grow and asking for more attention plus my old son who wanted mummy all the time. I was tired and overwhelmed, but I believed in myself and my capacities of doing it.

I cried, was depressed but fought for hours days and nights to get in there.

one year and a couple of months later I have finally came up with my 3rd baby an exclusive marketplace for baby and children equipment where parents could sell, rent, give away or swap their baby items.

Before becoming a full time mum I was a Financial manager, I used to work in Paris in the most prestigious University of Paris for engineers : Ecole des Mines de Paris. I have left my job, my life and my family and friends in Paris to Join my husband to London, we were together for 8 years, living a wonderful story and loving the life, he loves adventure and I followed.

After moving to London I have dedicated my days to raising my older son, then we had our second son. I have never thought of going back to work at that time. I had career break and was dedicating my life for my family.

Then when I was preparing for my second child birth I have realized that I had to buy over all the stuff for him, I was not keen on paying to much money on things I knew I won't use for a long time. So I looked all over the internet for a website dedicated for second hand baby items but there were no one dedicated for kids. I needed to use a breast pump, a cocoonababy not for a long time so I thought of hiring them from other parents. But couldn't.

I have ended up buying equipment all over again, spent a lot of money. But not everyone want to do it.

So I thought of the idea of the marketplace and started on working on it.

Today I am hoping to help parents minimize the waste and impact on the environment to the benefit of a more sustainable future for the up coming generations. Building a community of trust is my project because I am passionate about providing a safe and secure platform to make the deals happen.

I am working on growing up the community, and make baby equipment more affordable to all parents.
