Me to You and Tatty Teddy Encourage Shopping Local and Celebrates the Moments that Matter in a Time that Matters

After months of social distancing and making sacrifices, being distant and digital, it’s time to celebrate togetherness and the Moments that Matter in a Time that Matters.

Me to You, the much-loved brand featuring Tatty Teddy, the cute grey bear with a blue nose and patches, is encouraging us all to shop local and share messages of love and friendship. As part of the launch of its New Beginnings range, Me to You is launching a nationwide campaign celebrating those special people in our lives we value the most.

Me to You Marketing Manager, Grace Elphinstone, comments: “This might be a neighbour who helped with shopping or dog walking during the crisis, a teacher who went above and beyond to provide support during lock down, a care worker, nurse or doctor that cared for a loved one in an unimaginably difficult time, or a friend of family member you are pleased to be able to be close to again. Whoever you want to celebrate and whatever you want to say, now is the time to get your message across.”

Consumers are encouraged to pop into their local participating independent Me to You retailer, who will be featuring a magnificent rainbow themed window display and fill out a message on a heart shaped message card to be displayed proudly in the shop window. Customers can also enter a competition with a first prize of £1000 by simply commenting on the competition post on the Me to You Facebook page or in store via participating Me to You retailers. Grace adds: “Me to You is a brand that is synonymous with conveying messages of love and friendship and it will be wonderful to see thousands of heartfelt and personal messages displayed in rainbow colours up and down the high street within local gift and greetings card retailers. This campaign will be a fantastic way to encourage customers to venture out and shop local again.”

The competition launches on 20th July and the closing date is 7th September.
