Chartered Banker Institute Gains Level 7 EPA Status

6th June 2019

The Chartered Banker Institute is delighted to announce that it has been accepted as an Apprenticeship Assessment Organisation (AAO) to carry out the End Point Assessment (EPA) for the Level 7 Senior Investment/Commercial Banking Professional Apprenticeship Standard.

The Institute is proud to be an End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) for financial services apprenticeships, working with apprenticeship providers and employers to “sign off” apprentices.

The Institute already acts as an EPAO for the Level 2 Financial Service Customer Adviser Standard, the Level 3 Senior Financial Service Customer Adviser Standard and the Level 6 Relationship Manager (Banking) Standard as part of the ‘trailblazers’ apprenticeship learning programme.

Simon Thompson, Chief Executive of the Chartered Banker Institute commented:

“Apprenticeships demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of professional bankers.

The Institute has a long and proud history of being the standard-setting, accrediting and awarding body for the banking industry and in recent years we have led the way in enhancing and sustaining professional standards in the sector.

We are delighted to be granted End Point Assessment (EPA) status for the Level 7 Senior Investment/Commercial Banking Professional Apprenticeship Standard, completing the set of EPAs offered at Levels 2, 3 6 and 7.”
