Not fake news: Travel money provider giving it away in honour of Trump
In honour of President Trump’s state visit to the UK, travel money provider Currency Online Group are giving customers an extra $10 when they buy their US holiday money.
Currency Online CEO Paul Brewer said the gift was in honour of the close friendship between the two nations:
“President Trump may not be everyone’s cup of tea but as a close friend and ally of the UK and we wanted to mark the special relationship by giving our customers on their way to the USA a little something special too.”
“We would like to think we’re doing our bit to promote good relations between the two countries in the post Brexit world and would hope that President Trump approves as he knows a good deal when he sees one. This is not fake news“
When customers order US dollars online to collect from their Waterloo store, they’ll be given the extra cash on top if they’ve ordered $1000 or more. Any orders under $1000, Currency Online Group will still gift an extra $5. All they need to do is say the word ‘Trump’ when they go to collect their money from the Waterloo store.
