We decided to find out. Using data and reviews from TripAdvisor, we looked into how many restaurants in popular staycation destinations had vegan options, and how many of these had 5 star reviews, plus we did our digging to find the very best purely vegan accommodation too.

If you’re looking for a vegan staycation with lots of food options your best bet is to stick with a city break as 6 out of the top 10 we classed as city breaks.
If you’re wanting a beach break with solid vegan options your best option is Bournemouth with 176 options available to choose from.
