Phil Green: "90s Boy - Blair, the Lovegun and Me" Announcing Edinburgh Fringe Preview Shows
“90s Boy - Blair, the Lovegun and Me” sees Phil Green take us on a nostalgic ride through the 90s from the perspective of a boy with undiagnosed ADHD. This is his debut solo show, at Edinburgh Fringe,2022, along with a series of preview shows.
Phil takes us through a life of being neurodivergent, dealing with his oddball parents, love/hate relationship with Tony Blair and a complete and absolute obsession with long-forgotten terrible 90s pop songs.
Despite growing up in a house with a mother who worked her entire career in mental health, Phil has spent most of his life not knowing he was neurodivergent. Well into his 30s he finally got diagnosed and realised he inherited the disorder from his dad, a very blunt Welshman who Phil has never quite understood. Now trying to work it all out as an adult, Phil’s show deals with common misconceptions about ADHD, falling in and out of love with politics, the trouble his dog has got him into and all whilst never forgetting the soundtrack to his life; 90s big hit follow-up singles.
