When Travel & Art promote Gender Equality and other causes
VARIETY CARES by Variety Cruises, takes great pride in joining hands with ITHAKA FILMS and THE TREVOR PROJECT in supporting an impactful campaign around LGBTQ+ Equality with the short film DRAW WITH ME. DRAW WITH ME is a film directed by Constantine Venetopoulos in partnership with THE TREVOR PROJECT about the coming out journey of a youth - Brendon Scholl - who identifies as trans and about how their art became their outlet for self expression, while on the complex journey of having to be yourself in a world that at times struggles with diversity. The film has since become an impactful campaign and has screened at schools worldwide as well as the United Nations. DRAW WITH ME, has an official Oscar entry for Documentary Short Subject featuring a special introduction by Brendon's aunt Jennifer Lopez.
DRAW WITH ME is the story of talented teen artist, Brendon Scholl, who identifies as trans non-binary and whose art has been a vital outlet for self expression. From coming out as trans and consequently attempting suicide, to becoming an advocate...this intimate portrait of Brendon and their supportive family's trials dives deep into what was endured and overcome in this heart-warming journey of acceptance.

Education 4ALL - Variety Cares provides access to education to communities that lack it. Through Education 4ALL, Variety Cruises founded the Lamin Koto School in the Gambia, the Kuntaur Film Festival and other initiatives to promote education for all genders.
