DL Cuisine Concepts launches mentoring service for restaurants
A new service aimed at fledgeling and more experienced restaurant owners working with Chinese and south-east Asian food has been launched.
Officially set up at the start of this year, DL Cuisine Concepts works with Cantonese, Malaysian and other cuisines with a south-east Asian flavour.
“We offer these eateries a broad range of help so that they become established and are able to be successful a lot more quickly than they would otherwise,” said the owner of DL Cuisine Concepts, Felix Tse.
“If you’re new in the industry, there can be a lot to learn and take on board, while more established restaurants always benefit from refreshing their menu or kitchen design from time to time.”
The restaurant consultancy service has a number of elements, including help with planning and updating menus. Equally, the business can assist any restaurateur wanting advice on any aspect of kitchen design, or on how to build a team of excellent chefs. All health and safety points are also covered, as well as staff training and building relationships with suppliers.
Felix adds: “We aim to go back to a client restaurant a number of times a year once we’ve worked with them, to help owners, and make sure they are still staying on top of things.”
