The Domeble Symetri Student Awards 2021.
London, 10th September 2021: Domeble and Symetri came together this evening to
announce the winners of the Domeble Symetri Student Awards 2021. The evening
It witnessed the coming together of students from different universities, lecturers, the
judging panel and several other prominent members of the industry. What made it
even more special was, everyone was able to interact with each other in person after
the turbulent year we’ve had.to shine a light on the glorious wins of our very talented
young students.
Education has always been of pivotal importance for both Domeble and Symetri, two
companies closely associated with cutting edge creative 3D visualisation and
immersive technologies aimed at the automotive industry. The aim behind launching
these awards is to give 3D/CGI/VR/ photography students a chance to explore their
creativity and launch their careers.
Speaking on the occasion Domeble Founder Carl Lyttle and Industrial Design and
Visualisation Manager at Symetri Nick John commented, “It’s truly a proud moment
to witness our vision of the Domeble Symetri Student Awards come to life. We want
to congratulate all the winners and thank each one of the students for participating,
We are hoping for an even bigger turnout in 2022.”
The winners were selected by a coveted team of judges which included Carl Lyttle –
photographer and founder at Domeble, Keith Jeffery – Head of Automotive Division
at Taylor James, Chris O’Connor – Head of Technical Development at Zerolight,
David Grover – Capture One, Nick John – Industrial Design and Visualisation
Manager, Ben Cordes – Design Visualisation Manager at Bentley Motors, Henry
Morshead – Chief Designer at Hill Helicopters and Coline Thibault- Product CG Artist
– The Swatch Group.
The event sponsors included Williamson Carson, Digital Technology Labs, Capture
One, Domeble, Symetri, HDR Light Studios, Taylor James and Develop 3D
Magazine.
