Dominic Mandrell is recognised for his outstanding work by the full spectrum of the music industry.

At the beginning of what he expects to be his busiest year yet, the talented graphic designer has lifted the lid on some of the milestone projects which he has been involved in over the past few years.

One of those was working for one of the most lauded bands of all time - The Stone Roses. Working closely with guitarist John Squire and manager Conrad Murray, Dominic helped shape the artwork for both the European and South East Asia leg of their reformation tour as well as all the bands tour merchandise. They were so happy with the results that Dominic was offered the opportunity to design the DVD release of their channel 4 biopic directed by Shane Meadows ‘Made of Stone’.

Another iconic name he has worked for is Greg Wilson, a true pioneer of the dance music scene whose roots can be traced right back to the start of mixing electronic music in the UK. Known as one of the original Hacienda DJs, Greg is now in demand as a club and festival DJ around the world, and Dominic has spearheaded the merchandise and marketing campaigns which have accompanied Greg’s global tours. Aside from the striking t-shirt designs he has provided, Dominic also worked on the breathtaking record sleeves for Greg’s multimedia label, Super Weird Substance.

Dominic Mandrell said: “Up until now my business has operated largely thanks to word of mouth recommendations, but this year I am presenting my services to the music scene as a whole, and wider industries. I believe the projects I have undertaken thus far speak for themselves, and I welcome individuals and companies to send me their briefs for further discussion.”

About Dominic Mandrell Ltd

I am a graphic designer and illustrator who has worked in and around the live music, nightlife and festival industry for many years. The boundaries between producing artwork for other promoters as well as marketing their gigs and festivals and producing, conceiving and DJing at my own events blur all the time. I made a realisation that many of the skills I have developed in PR and marketing are transferable to restaurants/bars and the hospitality sector - they are essentially a branch of the entertainment industry after all. My recent contract with award winning Yum Yum thai Restaurant in Walthamstow looking after their social media and marketing needs confirmed this. So I am in the process of starting a new chapter with Tantalize media and creating an agency specialising in looking after the needs of this sector.
