Award-Winning Bao Brand Launches Veganuary Promotions

Award-winning Asian food brand Bun-dles is excited to announce the launch of its Veganuary promotions, featuring 25% off its popular Vegan Bao with two mouth-watering vegan options: Thai Vegetable Green Curry bao and Miso Shiitake and Tofu bao.

The Thai Vegetable Green Curry bao features a flavourful green curry filling with a mix of vegetables, while the Miso Shiitake and Tofu bao is filled with savoury miso-marinated shiitake mushrooms and tofu.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, founders Jenny Howson and Julie Lynch decided to swap their corporate careers after spotting a gap in the dim sum market.

Traditionally bao buns & dumplings, often referred to as ‘dim sum’, are hard to find outside of specialist shops and are not made fresh, often packed with preservatives and additives to lengthen their shelf-life. There’s usually also little information on sourcing and plenty of wasteful packaging!

Jenny and Julie set out to create something that they couldn’t find on the market – delicious, accessible bao full of flavour and made with no MSG, no added preservatives and use responsibly sourced, fresh ingredients. Every bao is handmade with love and care in their London kitchen by top dim sum chefs, and supports local independent farmers. Their bao are presented beautifully, in recycled and recyclable packaging, making it a delightful and enjoyable easy meal or snack. Their bao buns should be cooked from frozen in a simple bamboo or metal steamer - THE healthiest and tastiest way to cook food! - or, you can even just use a colander or microwave making them accessible and super convenient.
