Digitise Dad for Father’s Day

We’re surrounded by digital technology everywhere we look, from your phone to your car, food, entertainment…pretty much anything and everything in the modern world involves digital interactions. Now let’s get this straight, we’re not advocating making Dad out of pixels or coding a virtual Dad…well not yet anyway! We want to help you celebrate all that’s great about your Dad and his tech passions in a different way.

Dads love technology

It’s a fact, and sometimes they love it a little too much…well we have a great way for them to express this inner geekiness for all things digital. Something works across all devices on the global human OS, it works in real time, creating emotional reactions and interactions from a range of shirts and pocket squares with digital themes.

UK Design

Designed by British brand designer by Andy Boothman – a Cambridge based ‘brand guru’. Andy was inspired to develop the DressCode business by a print glitch. Initially frustrated by what he saw as a machine error he quickly recognized that there was an artistic appeal to these seemingly random arrangements of pixels and code. That led to ‘glitch’ the first DressCode shirt and has since expanded into a small collection of other designs, all inspired by tech.

“We’re surrounded by technology, it’s an integral part of our world, yet away from our devices, we have no way to communicate these passions” says Andy. “That’s what inspired me to develop DressCode, I think it’s really important that we have the ability to express ourselves without a device, in the real world, with real style.”

Colour of the year

The DressCode Pixel shirt and pocket square are available in ‘Living Coral’ the Pantone Colour of the Year 2019, so Dad will be ‘on-trend’ in more ways than one.

Sustainability

DressCode is globally aware, we appreciate our role as a producer and strive to make the best possible products with the minimum global impact. We’re not about fast fashion, our shirts are made to last, they’re made to be worn all day, in comfort, to be washed time and time again reducing the consumption of raw materials.

About DressCode Shirts

The DressCode story starts with a printer glitch. Initial reactions involved swearing but once the red mist subsided, we noticed some really interesting things were happening, yes things had gone wrong, but they’d gone beautifully wrong. We shared our ideas with friends and family who confirmed there was real appeal in the idea. That print glitch inspired the whole DressCode concept, creating stylish shirts for people who love tech in all its many forms. Founded by Andy Boothman in 2018, DressCodeShirts Ltd. is a Cambridge, UK company that designs ultra high quality shirts that are hand-made by a small team of tailoring experts. Attention to detail is everything, our customers expect the best - the best materials, practices and production when we are creating our shirts. We are very proud of the shirts that we produce, products that will give our customers years of pleasure.
