Creative Unlocking of Business Events

The lockdown has reinforced the need for shared experiences in a big way.

Video conferencing is brilliant but there’s only so much that it can do. Cultures and creativity do not thrive in a video conferencing environment and businesses are desperate to regroup.

Elsewhere, the events and venues business, has adapted with an extraordinary new offering called Unlocked. Hill House, a beautiful Tudor Manor in Norfolk, has been kitted out with cameras and human avatars with headcams. Events are streamed into Zoom channels with teams directing their avatars around the house. Hill House is turned into a firm’s own interactive film set, akin to The Big Breakfast House in the 1990’s.

Elsewhere are now able to deliver private festivals, team building, conferences and evening events for their clients again. As it’s all streamed from a 10 bedroom Manor House, a handful of clients can be part of the live stream and they can even bring their families and stay the night (with all of the usual rules on social distancing in place).

Ahead of each event the Elsewhere team send physical boxes to the homes of each participant so that they have what they need to attend.

"We're so impressed with the way the Elsewhere team have adapted their offering so swiftly and expertly for a post-pandemic world. It's obvious that their expertise and experience, coupled with their constant innovation means they are perfectly placed to offer immersive, engaging and safe virtual experiences. We are so pleased to be partnering with them again in 2020." Lizzy Pollott, VP of Brand for Acast

With so much uncertainty over the rest of 2020, Unlocked helps businesses push forward with their plans. Currently the Elsewhere team are working on big production Christmas parties using their event avatars and a Christmas tree made from 400 gin bottles.
