Britain Blow’s up during a National Defiance on the 23 May

PRESS RELEASE – RELEASE DATE: 18 May 2020 – PRESS RELEASE

Call for National Unity on 23rd May 2020 by remembering the many that sacrificed their lives amongst the ‘Ethnic Minority’ community by joining our national ‘Balloon4Eid’ campaign, highlighting the Covid-19 pandemic

At a time when Covid-19 has removed all community barriers, the whole country, irrespective of creed or your religion, is being invited to exercise their lungs. The “Balloon4Eid” campaign is a clear self-expression, of our defiance against this killer virus, with a participant blowing up a balloon to display outside their home or window as a sign of our National Unity.

This will be a demonstration of our Social Cohesion, as a proud Nation, who has always come together during adversity. We are also reminded that the Muslim community has been particularly impacted with the first NHS victim being Mr Amged El-Hawrani an ENT Surgeon from Queen’s Hospital Burton, alongside many others who kept the country functioning

Mr Amged El-Hawrani would have celebrated Eid al-Fitr, Saturday the 23 of May marking the end of Ramadan, a holy month of fasting. During this time 3.5 million British Muslims and 1.8 billion globally have been praying for our safety in these dark times with families, losing loved ones

Driving the initiative is Bobby A Syed, a long-term campaigner who has celebrated Multiculturalism, through his EMMA TV Show. “This is a once in a generation opportunity to put aside all our differences, the balloon is real symbol of our collective childhood, and represents life, in our lungs.

Let’s now look to the future, for the health of the next generation, with a world where health is more important than wealth or ethnic/race division”

All 650 MP’s have been contacted, to participate in having their balloons, outside public buildings to support our new National inclusion campaign. There will a balloon outside major landmarks, whether red, white or blue

If you cannot obtain a balloon during this national lockdown, please tie a ribbon on your gate in front of your home, or refresh your rainbow picture adding a balloon. This will show, our neighbour we’re united as a Nation, regardless of our differences during this global pandemic affecting us all.

About EMMA MEDIA

EMMA was formed in 1997, after Mr Bobby A Syed, had been working at Saatchi & Saatchi for many years then set-up his own PR & Marketing company. EMMA was very much in the mould of a Social Enterprise, with a clear mission statement to promote Social Cohesion, through Multiculturalism. The EMMA Awards, celebrated many personalities who shared this concept, which was broadcast on National TV for several years. EMMA became the leading light in winning the 2005 Olympic bid, hence the London 2012 Multicultural Olympic Games, was formed.
