Essex firm scoops national Law Society award
Essex law firm Fisher Jones Greenwood (FJG) has won a national Law Society award for ‘Excellence in Technology’, at the 10th annual Excellence Awards.
The nationwide award ceremony, hosted at the Park Lane Hilton on Thursday evening, recognised the most outstanding practitioners in their field and celebrated ten years of excellence within the legal profession. Alongside taking home the technology award, FJG also made the shortlist in the ‘Excellence in Private Client Practice’ category.
FJG scooped the award as a result of their work in the design of workflows combining law and technology with their existing case management system. This enables efficient, secure access to justice for those of modest means who fell out of scope as a result of government changes imposed post LASPO (Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012).
