Hello Burger wins Best Start Up Award at Business Excellence Awards 2017

Gourmet burger and cocktail restaurant Hello Burger, of Station Road, Sidcup won the Best Start Up Award at the Bexley Business Excellence Awards last night.

The popular casual dining restaurant that specialises in handmade Burgers, Cocktails and Desserts opened in November 2015 and since then has won a collection of awards including Best Customer Service.

The Awards Gala Dinner held at Bexleyheath's Marriott Hotel saw businesses from across the borough come together for a black tie event, where the winners of this year’s Bexley Business Excellence Awards were revealed.

Tony Adams, owner of Hello Burger said " Winning again this year was a complete surprise. We won 2 awards last year which was incredible, so to be named as Best Start Up this year is truly fantastic. It is a testament to not only the incredible team at Hello Burger but also to each of our guests that come out to support us every single day. We are so thankful that people continue to love what we do, we're very excited for the future. "

General Manager Faye Saunders said " Winning this award is wonderful because it shines a light on all the hard work the team put in every day. We love what we serve and how we serve it, this award makes us all incredibly proud. "

Award-winning is not unusual for Adams who was previously named " World Bar Champion" at an international competition in Las Vegas in 2008. He is also now the Head Judge at Roadhouse in Covent Garden, at their monthly flair competition. Tony is also a regular TV personality on ITV's This Morning as the "Cocktail King" mixing unusual creations for presenters Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

Hello Burger which regularly adds internationally inspired specials to the menu will be celebrating all things American in July to mark US Independence Day.
