About Honeybuns

I started Honeybuns in 1998 delivering cakes by bicycle to shops in Oxford. I was using Italian ingredients such as polenta and ground almonds . Coeliac customers then asked if I could exclude all gluten from the recipes. Thus I accidentally entered the nascent world of gluten free food manufacture. Honeybuns is now based on an old dairy farm in Dorset. Everything is gluten free plus vegan & dairy free options. Our vegan cakes are certified by the Vegan Society and we've written 2 gluten free cookbooks. From a background of B2B we now offer letterbox cakes, freezer refill packs and gifts to the consumer. We employ local people whose loyalty and commitment is off the scale! We adore nature and started our BeeGreen initiative back in 2009. We've planted 1000s of trees and hedging plants, installed solar power and composting bays. We also reach out to our community including our local NHS mental health residential clinic, Samaritans and Dorset Wildlife Trust.
