Floral and foliage-themed stationery wins over the hearts of wedding-couples-to-be

14th February 2020 –Invite Press is embarking on one of the busiest times ahead as the wedding season fast-approaches and they strive to keep up with tradition vs trends of the year.

Many wedding couples are excited about planning their special day; from picking the right venue to displaying their favourite flowers right down to the finer details such as personalised stationery - including save the date, wedding invitations and menu cards.

People’s tastes change each year and trends come and go but floral stationery is still winning over the hearts of wedding-couples-to-be. Invite Press notes that couples consistently opt for their personalised range of florals and greenery designs – choices that are topping the list include: Wild Anemone, Peony Spring, Rustic Foliage and Cherry Blossom.

One of the top trends for 2020 is edible flowers - whether they’re frozen in ice cubes, tossed in a salad or sprinkled on top of a dessert – so this theme compliments Invite Press stationery perfectly, especially as sketches and personalised illustrations are set to be desirable this year.

Sustainability is something couples are taking more seriously as eco-friendly options become more widely available. Just as reducing food waste on the day and carefully planning guests travel options are important, so is resourcing recyclable stationery. The good news is Invite Press only uses FSC-certified paper which is fully recyclable, something that appeals to wedding couples when deciding on wedding stationery.

Rebecca Davies, founder of Invite Press, explains: “Like flowers, weddings happen all year round and this is where we get our inspiration to create beautiful floral designs across all four seasons. This year garlands and greenery are topping the trends – from delicate, rustic arrangements to opulent trailing ceiling displays. We have captured this theme with several designs including our Spring Greenery and Rustic Foliage designs.

“We aim to keep our range fresh to compete in this challenging market, but by staying true to our brand with unique artwork, this is certainly hitting the mark, and in my opinion, will do for many years to come.”
