Jollof Mama moves to target corporate market
Jollof Mama, the authentic Nigerian food stall which is gaining momentum as a caterer, has announced its intention to target the huge corporate market for events in London.
A growing demand in London's corporate events market - from the City of London to the creatives of the West End and Hammersmith's media hub - for more exciting and adventurous menu options has been detected in recent times. Event organisers are aware of the need to make their event stand out, and offer attendees something to talk about when it comes to the dining experience.
Jollof Mama has confirmed a new offering which will seek to meet this demand, providing catering which is focused on bringing the exotic tastes of West Africa to corporate functions, parties and meetings across the capital.
Tieyan Eweka, owner of Jollof Mama Ltd, said: "We believe that food shouldn't just stay in the background, but that it should really add to the event experience. It never ceases to amaze us just how agreeable Nigerian staples such as jollof rice and suya are to the Western palate. We have decided that it is time we brought the spice, succulence and wonderful colours of Nigerian food to the business market, giving corporate event organisers a tantalising new option when it comes to their food offering."
Jollof Mama expects the suya (a type of marinated and barbecued meat) and jollof rice combination to be one of the most popular meal options selected by the corporate market. It can also be served in a wrap, along with spicy mayonnaise, or in a burrito with brown beans and fried plantain.
