CIPR working with JournoLink to bring affordable PR technology to members

The membership organisation for public relations practitioners, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), is working with online PR platform JournoLink, to provide members with direct access to the newly launched JournoLink PR Agency Platform.

Using augmented intelligence, the platform enables small agencies and PR freelancers to service clients’ needs efficiently and very economically, giving them the capacity to increase the number of clients they look after. Similarly, larger agencies are provided with an affordable ‘lite’ solution for clients with limited budgets.

CIPR, which is this year marking 15 years since it was awarded its chartered status, is a non profit making organisation focused not only on providing continuing professional development to its members, but also access to support and services which they see as consistent with promoting professionalism in the PR sector.

Commenting on the arrangement, JournoLink Director Peter Ibbetson said, “We have worked hard to extend the JournoLink platform for businesses to the agencies that look after them too. The PR Agency Platform, which we launched in January, having listened to feedback from many small agencies, is very user friendly and provides all the key components that an agency needs to look after its clients professionally. The automation and intelligence that we have built into the platform also means that it is highly cost effective. We are delighted to be working with CIPR to bring the benefits to members.”

Jon Gerlis, Public Relations and Policy Manager at CIPR added, “CIPR is constantly looking to bring added value to CIPR members. The JournoLink PR Agency Platform does precisely that and we are delighted to be able to make it available to our membership.”
