JournoLink Shortlisted for Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Wales & The South West) at NatWest GBEA Awards

The NatWest GBEA awards has in its 6 years celebrated the outstanding achievements and hard work of entrepreneurs, many of whom who have gone on to become household names. JournoLink Co-Founders Peter Ibbetson and Gemma Guise are shortlisted for the Innovation Entrepreneur Award for 2018.

Launched in 2014, JournoLink has grown from the go-to PR platform to get startups and small businesses in the news to a Digital PR platform reaching up with more PR tools to efficiently and affordably help SMEs and PR agencies raise their clients’ profiles and share their news to print, online and broadcast media. JournoLink has achieved coverage for its 4,500 clients in national regional and local media.

The “Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year” award recognises businesses that are swift to see opportunities and bring solutions that make our lives easier and more efficient. Joint candidate for the award and JournoLink Co-Founder Peter Ibbetson says: “It's great that JournoLink has been recognised. Our fingers are firmly crossed for the final now. The more businesses that see and hear of JournoLink, the more businesses we can help link to the media to drive their growth. So a win for JournoLink would be a win for businesses as a whole. Hopefully the judges will see that too.”

With financial backing from the Development Bank of Wales JournoLink has now upgraded its platform introducing even more ways for businesses and PR Agencies to distribute their press released content featuring more tools for collaboration with the public and media.

JournoLink is investing in Wales to drive the upgrade with 3 new tech staff and an expanded sales team all located at its new Welsh office in Cardiff. Joint candidate for the award and JournoLink Co-Founder Gemma Guise is thrilled by the expansion to Wales “I’m excited to be opening our sales and tech division in Cardiff because it offers so many opportunities. Cardiff is a thriving hub of small businesses and entrepreneurship. The startup community is full of passion and JournoLink is excited to offer the visibility that will grow those businesses. It's what we do.”

The NatWest GBEA awards for Wales will be held in Cardiff on 11th September 2018.
