Kivotos is Greek for "ark". And this complex of villas and hotels in Mykonos and Santorini are indeed the ultimate haven.

Both islands have a reputation for luxury and glamour. Yet there’s so much more to Santorini and Mykonons – Greek culture, historical sites and a wealth of activities, not usually associated with these destinations.

Kivotos Mykonos, in Ornos, was the first boutique hotel on the island to have a private beach and so offers the ultimate sanctuary. Sunbathe, enjoy a romantic dinner or take a speedboat from here to other parts of the island.
Kivotos Santorini is the highest building on the Caldera. So unlike other hotels located on this cobweb of volcanic rock, there are no steep steps to navigate. Just breeze into reception and be seamlessly taken to your suite.
The Design:
Kivotos Mykonos is located on the waterfront and with its whitewashed exterior is a triumph of local craftsmanship.
Kivotos Santorini, in contrast, is charcoal grey to reflect the island’s volcanic soul – as such it's a dramatic contrast to Santorini’s signature white and blue.

Each hotel offers bright and airy accommodation, combining ultra contemporary décor and modern art with antiques furnishings adorning the public areas. The rooms are crammed with luxury amenities king size beds with fluffy pillows and beautiful sheets, dock station, mini bar fully stocked with premium brands, daily fruit and flowers. The suites/villas ambiance at Kivotos Santorini is controlled with the touch of an ipad key. So you can change the lighting colours or play favourite music through the SONOS sound system.
