Online Escape Room hosts 1000th Game
Know Escape hosts over 1000 online escape room games since Covid-19 pandemic shutdown in UK
Know Escape's new service, Online Escape Rooms has now hosted 1000 online escape room games. The Online Escape Rooms were launched on March 24th, within three days of the eleven physical Know Escape rooms being closed by Covid-19.
Since launching the Online service over 1100 one hour sessions have been booked and 6000 people have played together from the safety of their own home. Each game is one hour in length, and just like the physical rooms players must work together to solve puzzles and ultimately escape the experience.
Matthew Eaves, Managing Director of Know Escape, said: “We're one of the few escape room companies in the UK to offer live Games Masters in our online escape room offer, and are blown away by the support and feedback as we've been forced to take our business online”
Know Escape was formed in 2017 and started as one Escape Room based in Chelmsford, two and a half years later the business hosts eleven escape rooms and a team of 70 games masters work for the family owned business.
William Hazon, Operations Director added: “we were basically switched off overnight, the moment and have come back fighting! We're so proud of our team who have risen to the challenge of delivering virtual escape rooms from the safety of customers homes, we've hosted thousands of players and are getting brilliant feedback from all across the world.”
