KNW Consultancy highlights the importance of charity for Red Cross Week

KN Walford Consultancy Ltd (KNWC), which provides a number of fundraising services to a broad variety of good causes, is highlighting the importance of charity for this week’s Red Cross Week, which started on May 6th and runs until the 12th.

KNWC’s services range from bid writing to reviewing funding applications, project development and training and coaching for individual staff members or organisations as a whole.

Owner and sole proprietor Kemar Walford has more than a decade’s experience in fundraising and the broader charity sector.

He says: “I am keen to help the less valued organisations do something special within their own communities. But I also support high-profile charities like the Red Cross in the work they do.

“I think Red Cross Week offers a great chance for people to think about giving to charity, and whether this is something they can do if they don’t already.”

KNWC’s clients include organisations such as the Avocado project, Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum and Proud to Be Me.

Walford adds: “I provide highly tailored solutions to organisations of all sizes, allowing charities to focus on championing their good causes. The service is flexible and friendly, and the first consultation is always free.”

The Red Cross helps people deal with disasters, personal crises and conflict across the UK as well as overseas. It is involved in everything from post-cyclone relief to First Aid training. For this year’s Red Cross Week, the focus is on encouraging people to shake a bucket to raise funds, whenever and wherever it is convenient for them.
