Everyone’s on social media- but those that do it best have great quality images
Great quality images are now a vital part of a business’s social media strategy, according to commercial photography business Lee Blanchflower Ltd.
The comments come ahead of Social Media Day, which falls at the end of June.
Director Lee Blanchflower said: “Over the last 6-8 months we’ve seen a massive spike in interest in our services, both for large and small businesses. Social media is a key avenue for many businesses to promote what they do, and images have become an important part of that.”
According to a recent post by marketing and sales giants Hubspot, tweets with images receive 150% more retweets than those without images.
They also reported that Facebook posts with images see 2.3x more engagement than those without images.
Lee added: “With the increasing popularity of platforms like Instagram and Snapchat, high quality images are going to become even more vital for businesses of all sizes.”
