Lingotot Celebrates World Book Day!

World Book Day 2022 was celebrated by kids and adults alike last Thursday 3rd March. As one of the biggest dates in the educational calendar, World Book Day is a celebration of reading and an opportunity to inspire a love of books. Lingotot businesses across the UK and Ireland embraced this tradition with a Lingotot twist; learning a second language through celebrated children’s literature.

In order to mark World Book Day, Lingotot businesses ran storytelling sessions, themed assemblies, and World Book Day themed classes in schools, nurseries and communities. Not only did the kids (and adults) get to dress up, make some amazing crafts and read their favourite books, they did so whilst learning a second language!

Founder of Lingotot, Angela Sterling, says ‘we are so excited to be involved in this fantastic celebration of reading and love that we can combine it with language education. The importance of both for children is encouraged at Lingotot and it was lovely to see lots of Little Lingotots enjoying themselves with Lingotot on World Book Day this year.’
