Local Languages Teacher says Oui To New Business Venture!
A local business woman is opening up the world of modern languages to young children with the launch of a new language venture in Northampton and the surrounding areas.
Lucy Peach, who lives in Northampton with her husband, has recently launched her own children’s languages business, in a bid to share her passion and engage more youngsters in the joy of learning foreign languages.
Lingotot is a multi-award winning languages programme being delivered to over 20,000 children across the UK each week. They run fun, interactive classes through community groups, nurseries and schools, teaching languages such as French, Spanish, German, Arabic, Welsh, English as a second language and even Chinese!
Lucy has enjoyed a successful teaching career in the secondary sector but is making the switch to teach younger children as she wholeheartedly believes in the benefits of introducing children to languages from a much younger age.
She says: “I'm passionate about helping others to develop a lifelong love of languages by making learning fun. Lingotot is a proven method that has been very successful in many parts of the country so I'm looking forward to building the brand in Northampton.”
Lucy continues: “I'm excited about trying out the different strands of Lingotot with the little language learners of Northampton but mostly, I can't wait to get the parachute out!”
