Meet Steph, Founder of Lingotot Solihull and Lingotot's Newest Member!

We have been catching up with Lingotot's newest franchise partner, Steph. Steph recently founded Lingotot Solihull - watch this space for new classes in her area!

What is your business name?

Lingotot Solihull

Where do you live and who with?

I live in Castle Bromwich, in the Borough of Solihull with my partner Tim and cats Tilly and Bob. I also have two sons at university.

What is your background?

I studied Modern European Studies at Loughborough University and spent the 2 years after graduating working for British Steel. This really didn’t rock my boat so I trained to be a languages teacher and never looked back!

What made you look for something else?

I absolutely loved my 25 years as a school teacher, but once my youngest son left home I figured the time was right for me to take a different career path and really liked the idea of running my own business.

Why did you choose Lingotot?

Once I started researching language teaching franchises, I quickly realised that Lingotot is head and shoulders above the competition. They offer the broadest array of language learning experiences and the support from Head Office is second to none.

Why do you think it is important for young children to learn languages?

We live in a globally connected world and our children need to feel confident and able to communicate in languages other than their own. But, more importantly, it’s so much fun!

What are your hobbies (other than languages of course!)?

I’m a huge foodie and love cooking for family and friends. I use pilates and swimming to help keep my physical and mental health in check.

Thank you Steph, and welcome to the Lingotot family!

Thank you! I am delighted to be a part of the Lingotot family and very proud to be running a business that offers such a high quality experience to its customers.
