Maiden Voyage Appoints New Advisory Board

Maiden Voyage, specialists in diverse traveller safety announced today the launch of its new Advisory Board, a strategic committee of industry executives, bringing wide-ranging expertise in customer success, sales and marketing. Joining the advisory board are:

Laurence Bret-Stern

Laurence’s experience spans over 20 years as Marketing executive at world-class organisations like LinkedIn, AOL, Orange or Pipedrive, one of the fastest growing B2B SaaS vendors.

She is a marketer at heart, customer-obsessed, fond of product design and branding. She brings a unique expertise of performance marketing and growth hacking and possesses a deep knowledge of SaaS financial models.

Laurence also holds Non exec and Board positions and is the UK Director of OneRagtime.

Genevieve Martin

Genevieve is a successful sales director with over twenty years of experience in the technology industry, in consulting, services and solutions. Her coaching approach has resulted in high levels of team engagement and consistent team overachievement.

At Dell Technologies, she leads the Global Alliances Services business for EMEA. Previously she has held various leadership and account management roles in Symantec, Charteris and Logica (CGI).

Genevieve holds a first class honours degree in Computing from the University of Ulster.

Emma Maslen

Emma is a senior technology leader with over 20 years’ experience – working for IT household names such as Sun Microsystems, BMC Software and SAP Concur. Notably, when she was Managing Director of SAP Concur, an expenses and travel specialist, she championed employee engagement, talent development and inclusion on top of the day job.

Emma is currently taking some time out of the corporate world and advising start-ups using her extensive experience and expertise in technology.

The board has been extended in response to the global focus on diversity in the workplace, contrasting with the sharp increase in high-profile cases of gender based harassment and assault often committed during business related travel assignments.
