Brighton based technology incubator group G33K are delighted to announce that dynamic video platform Hopper Video, also based in Brighton, has joined its portfolio. He adds; “Clients like software company Condeco used it as a sales tool and sent out 12,000 personalised videos over 48 hours. This cold email campaign resulted in a click-through-rate of 4.5%; more than double the average for the software sector.

While Make (Good) Trouble, a not-for-profit organisation helping troubled teens, sent out 200 videos as part of a fundraiser. 1 in 4 people watched their video and within 48 hours 4% had made donations raising over £15,000.”

Tayler Cresswell, Make (Good) Trouble’s Co-founder said “Our crowdfunding campaign, like so many, was personal. It needed to connect with parents and carers of teenagers all over the UK who were worried about their children’s mental health. When we discovered the Hopper video platform it was a perfect fit for us, as we could create personalised messages that resonated. It was quick and easy to integrate into our wider PR campaign and it was great to get results back so quickly, tracked directly to the donations. The team at Hopper Video were great to work with, the campaign was fun and very effective.”

Matthew continues; “The idea behind Hopper Video came about three years ago when we made a promotional video and manually added in personalised details for each video and sent out a batch as part of a project I was working on. 24 videos got us 8 meetings. But some of those meetings were enquiries about personalised video for themselves. I knew then that the concept was something special. And so Hopper Video was born”.
