Calling all Hull schools - Claim your free sustainability resources & rewards

Hull-based recycling company MyGroup has put out an open call to primary schools in Hull & surrounding areas - offering free educational resources, recycling schemes and even free furniture & play equipment made from sustainable materials.

The groundbreaking SchoolCycled scheme aims to educate, recycle & reward. Using incentivised recycling schemes the purpose is to engage the next generation in important conversations about the environment and climate change.

Pupils are challenged to collect plastic bottle caps at school, at home and through litter picking excursions - in exchange for the bottle caps the school gains 'Earth Tokens'. Earth tokens are cashed in for recycled furniture, planters and play equipment, all made from 100% recycled plastic and made by MyGroup from the schools collected waste.

Izzie Glazzard, MyGroup says "We wanted to create something for schools that showed them conversations about sustainability and climate change don't have to be scary. We want the kids to see the immediate and long term benefits recycling, reusing and upcycling can have for the planet - and take those skills into their futures!"

SchoolCycled has successfully piloted in multiple schools now, including Bude Park primary school in Hull - who have been collecting now for almost six months and have claimed a mud kitchen and table & chair set as a reward.

MyGroup are onboarding more local schools onto the scheme NOW - interested parties can register their interest here >>> https://mygroupltd.com/schoolcycled/
