Shortlist announced for national enterprise support awards

National Enterprise Network has today announced its shortlist for the 2016 National Enterprise Network awards – a programme established in 2007 to recognise excellence in the delivery of enterprise support, encouraging the exchange of good practice and the development of improved services and organisations.

The organisations on the 2016 National Enterprise Network awards shortlist are:

These organisations have demonstrated a real impact in the enterprise support sector, in providing business support, advice and training to pre start, start up and small businesses across England.

On Friday 18th November 2016, National Enterprise Network will announce seven category award winners from this shortlisted group of enterprise support organisations. The dedicated awards ceremony takes place at the 2016 National Enterprise Network Annual Conference held at the RBS Conference Centre in central London.

The awards National Enterprise Network will be presenting this year are:

Enterprise Support Organisation of the Year – sponsored by NatWest

Highlighting members that have worked hard to establish or maintain recognition and impact within their local communities, with noticeable results.

Community / Stakeholder Engagement of the Year

Recognising a successful planned or unplanned large project or campaign within the local community.

Future of Enterprise Support Award

Showcasing member organisations that have been exceptionally innovative in their approaches to make activities successful and sustainable despite any difficulties they face in the current climate.

Client Engagement Award

Rewarding those who have used creative methods to link with their clients by being innovative, interactive and engaging and finding compelling new ways or places to connect.

Unsung Hero of the Year – sponsored by Cobweb

Recognising those who are not necessarily in the limelight, but whose contribution is crucial in meeting the needs of the business and its clients.

Enterprise Team of the Year

Rewarding a particular team that has achieved something exemplary – put forward by their colleagues to recognise their achievements.

Enterprise Communicator of the Year

Members nominated by NEN for their outstanding communications with both the Network and beyond; highlighting the range and types of work the enterprise support sector undertakes.
